Brydge has quickly become the leader in premium tablet keyboards and accessories for brands such as Apple, Microsoft, and Google. They were looking for a way to connect and bring message to the people who want to hear it. This is how they decided to start using Prowly.
With a team of 22, Brydge has made sure there are more than 300,000 keyboards in over 140 countries, attached to a premium device. The company wanted to create visual stories, but had to use a combination of tools to do so.
Before Prowly, we typically drafted our releases in a Word document. Our main contact list was in a Google sheet that we organized based on campaign and location

Right now, they can’t imagine organizing work without Prowly. They’re also excited by our media database, which is especially useful for staying up-to-date. We asked Morgan Miller, Marketing Coordinator at Brydge, why the company chose to use our application and how it helps them in their daily work.
Magda, Prowly: Why did you decide to start using Prowly? What needs does Prowly respond to?
Morgan Miller, Marketing Coordinator at Brydge: We decided on Prowly for two reasons. First, we were looking for a way to connect and bring our message to the people who want to hear it. Prowly allows us to make connections with local and international journalists so that we can narrow and fine-tune our PR strategy. Secondly, we wanted to implement a “newsroom” page on our site. Brydge is a fast-growing company and because of this, we have media coverage coming in quickly without a place to organize and promote it.

We also are in the process of creating relevant content in the form of blog posts and other thought-leadership articles that address our customer’s questions and position ourselves as leaders in the tech industry. Through Prowly, we are able to organize all of this on our website in an easy and streamlined process.
Magda: What are the pros of having an integrated CRM (communications hub) for PR activities?
Morgan: Having an integrated CRM system for PR outreach is vital in distributing our releases to the right people and outlets. Through this, we are able to analyze the results of our PR activities and communication efforts so that we can continue to improve our strategy and drive better results.
Magda: What are the pros of having a media database integrated within PR CRM?
Morgan: We love the media database tool. While we have a great base of PR contacts (mainly in the US), contact information and job titles change, making it difficult to stay up-to-date. Prowly’s media discovery and database tools do this updating for us while also allowing us to discover new contacts both in the US and internationally.
Magda: How/Where did you create stories before you started using Prowly? Where did you keep your contact details? How did you share your stories with the stakeholders?
Before Prowly, we typically drafted our releases in a Word document. Our main contact list was in a Google sheet that we organized based on campaign and location. When we seeded our press release, we would send emails individually, attaching a PDF of our press release.

Magda: How does Prowly’s analytics module help you engage the right audience and do your follow-up?
Morgan: Prowly’s analytics module gives us insights on engagement that we didn’t have before. We are able to see who opened our email and who clicked through it. This information allows us to figure out who is interested in our message, who isn’t, and how to improve content and distribution for our next release.
Magda: Thanks so much for the talk!
