The 9th of March will be remembered here for a very long time. For over six months we have worked on a set of changes affecting our app, communication, and company identification. We are now past this stage, and all the changes have been brought to light. It’s a great relief and joy because we are certain that we’ve given our users something great.

We are now past this stage, and all the changes have been brought to light. It’s a great relief and joy because we are certain that we’ve given our users something great.
The main goal of the update was to provide a world-class quality experience with the app that our users have been relying on every day. We also wanted to set an industry standard for measuring the effectiveness of managing media databases or writing and distributing PR content.
The whole process was crowned with a rebranding campaign, the logic of which was explained in one of the very first articles about the update. We wanted our brand communication to keep up with how our app was about to look and work.
But today is not about that. Every TV series ends with a spectacular and exciting finale. And that’s already behind us. Forgive me, but today is going to be about us and our team (surely our clients will judge us on their own based on how good a job we’ve done).
Here’s how the app deployment process looked like. We started the whole operation shortly after 8 p.m. CET. The process took us only twelve minutes, but we spent the rest of the night testing the updated product to make sure we traced every single bug. As it turned out, there weren’t as many bugs as we expected.
And here are the superheroes who designed (focusing on the convenience of use) the new interface, and planned and implemented the new features:

Adrian, who not only has been with us since the very beginning of Prowly (I can’t imagine this company without you, Adrian!) but has also been developing his back-end and front-end programming skills at an incredible pace.

Kamil is an unbelievably talented master of back-end programming, whose main responsibility is to keep our product stable and running. Kamil – thank you for your devotion and pushing the whole team forward. Even if sometimes you have to ask a tough question or two ;)
Tomek Próchniewicz
Of all the people, Tomek (right after me) approaches single detail of the front-end layer of our platform with the highest level of attentiveness. Tomek, I love working with you. I appreciate your get-up-and-go attitude and being so open to working to provide the best quality services for our clients.
Łukasz Balcerzak
Łukasz does not deal with coding on a daily basis, but the rest of our team makes sure he gets a fresh set of codes to test every day. It’s thanks to him, among others, that the new version of Prowly had nearly no bugs or errors. Łukasz, I love your ambition and drive to ensure the highest quality of our product and the sense of responsibility you’re developing on the company level – 10/10 😊
Marta Matros
Marta joined the front-end team at the beginning of her development journey with Angular (JavaScript-based framework). The pace at which she has been developing is just incredible – this is why she’s also responsible for custom implementations for our clients. When I think of Marta, a huge smile appears on my face. She’s a real hero of online illustration, and I’m pretty sure she’ll be famous one day. She’s a rocket-woman, and we present each of her works very proudly!

Rafał is here in a slightly different role than you normally see him in. You probably didn’t know this before, but between dropping another post to our social media channels and doing media relations (he said that this is what he wants to focus on right now, but I wouldn’t be so sure!), Rafał has been exploring his talent for coding. I’m so proud of you!
Sebastian Przyborowski
Sebastian is my business partner and bud, with whom I’ve shared my whole professional life. He makes every member of this team unleash their superpowers every day. It is Sebastian who stimulates creativity within the whole team. We may not always agree, but our discussions always lead to great ideas.
When you’re launching an update operation on such a massive scale, the biggest challenge is to secure stable workflow to your clients and make sure they understand what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. That’s why we prepared a Netflix-style communication campaign. It included a series of educational materials, each explaining a specific feature, pre-release webinars, and individual training sessions and calls.
Let me get this straight because I’m super proud of it: I’ve never seen such an approach towards clients as when we were preparing our users for the update. I hope we can make it into a case study one day.

Karolina Zasada
Karolina joined our team in January. Not only she needed to learn a lot of details about the product very quickly, but she also prepared a very thorough plan of update communications for all our users – which, once again, required her to understand how the update was meant to work. She’s a planning expert and an unbelievably warm person who makes all our users feel well taken care of. Karolina, thanks for sharing your inner serenity with all of us when we need it the most.
Kasia Chrobak
Kasia joined the team as a researcher, but she drifted slowly towards the Customer Success team. It makes me proud to watch her career flourish. Kasia, you’re showing the whole team that when people want something, even if they’re scared and feel insecure about their skills, they can achieve everything with hard work and a responsible attitude.
Before I finish I’d like to thank the Marketing Team: Piotr Bożek and Edyta Kowal (I’ve already mentioned Rafał); and the Sales Team: Wojtek Dwojacki and his prettier colleagues, Karolina Rafalo, Karolina Jakubik, and Kasia Śmiech. And then there’s Ada, who is handling our finances. There’s a lot of work ahead of us in each of these fields, but I have no doubt we’ll make it.
